as a smaller, more affordable sibling to the R1S, bringing Rivian’s adventurous
DNA into a more accessible package.
The R2S is a five-seat SUV
built for daily driving, families, and outdoor adventures. It features bold
styling, Rivian’s signature oval headlights, roll-down rear window, and pop-out
quarter windows for versatility. With three motor options—single-motor
RWD, dual-motor AWD, and tri-motor AWD—the R2S delivers impressive performance.
In fact, the top trim can accelerate from 0–60 mph in under 3 seconds.
Powered by new LG 4695
cylindrical battery cells, the SUV offers over 300 miles of driving
range. It supports the North American Charging Standard (NACS),
making it compatible with Tesla’s Supercharger network, alongside fast DC
charging.
Inside, the R2S includes a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, wireless charging, Alexa integration, over-the-air software updates, premium audio, and plenty of cargo flexibility with fold-flat seats and a front trunk
