The upcoming Volkswagen ID.2

Europe. Positioned below the ID.3, it combines compact hatchback practicality
with the brand’s latest MEB platform technology. With a 56 kWh battery, the
ID.2 delivers a range of up to 300 miles (WLTP) while maintaining a
stylish and futuristic design.
Inside, the car features a 12.9-inch
infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,
and over-the-air updates, making it as connected as higher-end EVs.
Safety is a priority with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control,
blind-spot monitoring, and multiple airbags as standard.
The ID.2 is expected to be
manufactured in Spain, targeting the European mass market with an entry
price of €25,000, making it one of the most affordable long-range EVs on
the market. Volkswagen positions it as a “people’s EV,” combining efficiency,
affordability, and practicality without compromising on range or safety.
